Rebuilding [Locked to

Sep. 22nd, 2011 11:11 amIt had only been about a week or so since the Wardens came and cleared out the Tower, taking down Uldred in the process, and already the rebuilding was going well.
Well, the bodies had been cleared out, the library had been repaired, and the dorms were more or less back to normal. But it takes more to rebuild and heal than a few repairs, and nobody is more aware of that than Nellie Amell.
Everybody was different now. Everything was different. Everywhere she looked, she was haunted by the images of what had transpired...she sees abominations and bodies everywhere, and it's been days since she's had a good night's sleep.
Irving keeps telling her that she should talk about things, that it'll help her start to get over it...but she can't. She lost too many friends when Uldred took over, and talking about that hurts. She can't even imagine talking about what Uldred did to her, what he did to Cullen...
Cullen.
She'd been avoiding him. He had been so angry when she tried to break him out...so convinced she was a demon...she was almost afraid to face him now. Facing him meant facing the fact that she failed him when he needed her most.
So she's avoided him. She's avoided mostly everybody, staking out a small corner in the back of the library, burying herself in her books until she feels normal again.
